Maria Marcaida-Gorospe, PT

Maria is originally from Manila, Philippines. She has attended De La Salle University and Emilio Aguinaldo College. In 1991, Maria earned a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy. She worked in an inpatient setting with neuro and spinal cord clients at the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) from 1992-2000. She also occasionally worked with outpatient services at the hospital site. At the Detroit Receiving & Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, Maria worked with outpatient adult population orthopedics/sports medicine and neurological conditions from 2000-2013. At Henry Ford in Warren, she worked as a physical therapist with contingent outpatient and subacute inpatient. Maria has been a part of Synergy Health Partners Physical Therapy with orthopedic outpatient treatment since 2013. In 2015, Maria expanded her services to include the geriatric population with balance and/or vestibular problems.
Maria is interested in assisting the geriatric population with balance and/or vestibular issues. She believes physical therapy intervention is key in helping solve these problems.

In her free time, Maria enjoys gardening.
