Surgical Foot & Ankle Procedures

  • Chevron Osteotomy This procedure involves making a V-shaped cut in the bone to realign the big toe joint. It's ideal for mild to moderate bunions and typically provides excellent correction with faster recovery times than more extensive procedures.
  • Scarf Osteotomy A Z-shaped bone cut that allows for precise correction of moderate to severe bunions. This technique provides excellent stability and correction while preserving joint function and is suitable for most bunion deformities.
  • Lapidus Procedure This advanced technique fuses the joint at the base of the first metatarsal, providing the most stable correction for severe bunions or those with significant instability. It's particularly effective for patients with hypermobile joints.
  • Minimally Invasive Bunionectomy Using specialized instruments and small incisions, this technique reduces tissue trauma and typically results in less pain and faster recovery. Many patients can bear weight immediately after surgery with this approach.
